Go Green with Reusable Nursing Pads
I am a breastfeeding mom and have been using nursing pads for a while. However, I have found that the pads were always way too thick, so I decided to make my own to avoid the “do-I-see-saucers-in-your-bra? look” :). This is just one of many types of pads I currently make.
This auction includes 6 pads (3 pairs) of washable pads that have 2 layers of breathable cotton flannel in ivory color and one layer of printed flannel of your choice. You can also choose pads that are all in the ivory flannel. I will occasionally list limited time patterns in the ‘other’ option. If you would like more than one pattern in your 3 pair set, please let me know before making a purchase.
Each pad is approx. 4.5 inches across and serged around the edges to minimize fraying. 4-thread serging stitch is very durable and far superior to regular home sewing machine zigzag stitch used in some nursing pads. Serging is hard to unravel even if you tried :).
I pride myself on workmanship and will deliver to you a quality professional product. These are great as baby shower or new mom gifts.
Machine washable and dryable. For better absorption I recommend not using a dryer sheet or fabric softeners.

If you know that you need that extra protection, I can add an extra layer of flannel at no additional cost to you. I can also make the pads larger, up to 6 inches in diameter, upon request. If you would like both, extra layer and larger size, it would be additional $0.50 per pair. Please request an invoice before paying.
